Integrative Health Coaching is perfect for anyone who is motivated to improve his/her health. Research has shown that individuals who work with health coaches experience positive health outcomes in reducing their risks of chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and stroke, and improvements in medication adherence, exercise frequency and glycemic control.
Typical goals of my clients include (but are not limited to):
- weight loss
- healthier eating
- increased exercise
- stress reduction
As a health coach, I am trained and skilled in the process of health behavior change. My role in your change process is to work in partnership with you to set goals, derail roadblocks and take action to achieve and sustain health-supporting behaviors. My approach is based on principles of behavior change, like clearly defined goals, small steps, repetition, and personal accountability.
I recommend a minimum commitment of 3 months of health coaching, which will position you to make sustainable health behavior changes. For those who cannot make this commitment, I offer a 6-week option that still emphasizes the important principles of behavior change mentioned above.
